I NEVER write Google reviews - ever! However, following such a positive experience with this company, I'm making an exception. After I had an exterior door installed, my nearby doorbell transformer immediately started buzzing loudly and incessantly, resulting in my turning off the breaker. Due to scheduling constraints, I needed an electrician to come out the next day. An internet search resulted in Tradesmen's Pride Electric. Andrew was courteous and informative when scheduling, and Ernest and Logan were very kind, reassuring, and professional during the appointment. They quickly identifiied the problem and answered all of my questions. I simply could not have asked for better service! Suffice it to say, I have found my new electricians and already have plans to contact them in the Fall for other projects. My only wish is that this company served just east of 75 so that my family and best friend could benefit from its services. Thanks again for helping me out of a jam and easing my concerns!

We had a problem with our cooktop. A search led me to Tradesman. The attention on the phone was top rated, communication was great, and the techs showed up on time. Earnest and Logan traced right back to the circuit breaker. It was a quick fix, very, very reasonable, and a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Amazing service! They had two electricians out to my house only a couple hours after I called. When they noticed a potential issue with the breaker box, they sent a master technician out within 30 minutes to take a look and make sure everything was safe to continue using. I would highly recommend Tradesmen's Pride Electric, and will most definitely use their services again in the future if I need to!

When to Replace or Upgrade Your Panel

Frequent Breaker Trips

Trips under normal use suggest overloaded circuits or a failing breaker. We diagnose and fix safely.

Old or Recalled Panels

Fuse boxes, Federal Pacific (FPE), Zinsco, or rusted/melted panels should be replaced for safety and insurance compliance.

New Loads or Capacity Needs

EV chargers, pools, additions, or new HVAC often require a service upgrade to 200A or 400A.

  • Breaker replacement & GFCI upgrades
  • Subpanel installs and relocations

Panel & Breaker FAQ

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured for electrical work in Texas. Our Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL) is #40479.

Do I need a permit and inspection?

Yes. Panel replacements and service upgrades typically require a permit and inspection. We handle the process for you.

How long does a panel replacement take?

Most panel replacements are completed within the same day, with power off for at least several hours. If complications come up, coordination with the utility and inspections can extend the timeline — but usually it’s one day.

Should I upgrade to 200 amps?

If you’re adding large loads (EV charger, pool equipment, new HVAC, additions) or frequently tripping breakers, a 200 A service can provide needed capacity. We perform a code-based load calculation to size your service (100–200A).

Can you replace just one bad breaker?

Yes. We can replace individual breakers and add AFCI/GFCI protection where required by code.
